Electroporation Generators

The ECM 830 generator utilizes the new BTX Power Platform Technology and an all-new digital user interface, producing square wave pulses with direct control of the pulse width. The ECM 830 possesses key features including finer voltage discrimination, Arc Quenching, the monitoring of all key parameters, and the control of pulse intervals.

The ECM 399 Generator is an electroporation system specifically designed to produce the precise field strengths and pulse lengths required for the transfection of mammalian and transformation of bacterial and yeast cells. The ECM 399 utilizes the new BTX Power Platform Technology design and novel digital user interface. The single-dial encoder simplifies the operation of ECM 399. Portable, convenient, and user-friendly are major features of this unit.

The ECM 2001 Electro Cell Manipulator is a versatile electro cell manipulation instrument for both Cell Fusion and Electroporation . It generates an AC waveform for benign dielectrophoretic alignment of cells. With only microsecond switch-over time from AC to DC, efficient fusion can take place. After fusion AC re-application keeps cells together for the rounding off process. The DC square pulse section can be used as a stand alone powerful electroporation system with a wide range of voltages and pulse lengths capable of operating into low impedance loads.

  • AC (alignment): 1 MHz, 0-75 VRMS, 0-99 s duration
  • AC (post fusion): 1/10 of prefusion amplitude, 0-9 s duration, pause between AC/DC 50 µs
  • DC (fusion/poration): 10-500 V, 10 µs - 99 ms in LV mode, 0-9 pulses
  • DC (fusion/poration): 500 - 3000 V, 1 - 99 µs in HV mode, 0-9 pulses
