  • Cools to 39 ºC below ambient - typically to -15 ºC
  • Ideal for storage of restriction enzymes or DNA libraries, or ethanol precipitation.
  • Perform translation or ligation reactions
  • Includes one block, holding 14 x 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes.
  • Extra blocks available for 0.5 ml tubes (also fitting Tropicooler).

  • Microscope slides: 5 on slant; 8 horizontal
  • Cuvettes: 15 x 1cm cuvettes
  • Crucibles: 2 x 30ml nickel crucibles
  • 'Dolphin' tubes: 24 x 1.5 ml
These blocks also fit Harvard Dry Bath Incubators.
MicroCooler II

MicroCooler II

A compact cooler, ideal for mainting the 14 ºC used in ligation reactions, or the 17 ºC used in storing oocytes.
  • Range 4 ºC to ambient
  • Solid state - no compressors or CFCs
  • Ideal for ligation reactions or storing oocytes
  • Uses a rack accomodating 21 x 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes.
