Harvard VentElite Ventilator

The VentElite was designed for small animal research applications and is intended for use on subjects ranging in size from mice to guinea pigs. The goal in designing this ventilator was to maintain versatility and ease of use while fostering safe and physiologically accurate mechanical ventilation conditions.

Harvard Mouse & Small Animal ventilators

Two popular and rugged models of ventilator for small animals.

• Model 683: animal sizes from 250 g to 10 kg (rats to small dogs)
• Supplied with two piston/cylinder sizes
• Tidal volumes 0.5 to 5 ml (small cylinder) and 3 to 30 ml (large cylinder)

• Rates from 18 to 150 bpm

• Model 687: for mice and perinatal rats up to 200 g (illustrated)
• Tidal volumes from 0.1 to 1 ml
• Rates from 18 to 150 bpm

Harvard-HSE MiniVent for Mice

A compact and lightweight ventilator especially for mice.

• Stroke volumes from 0.03 to 0.35 ml
• Rates from 60 to 400 bpm
• Adjustable while running
• Valveless design with rotating piston
• Low dead space

Harvard Intermediate & Large Animal Ventilators

Two workhorse models of ventilator, in use in thousands of research laboratories.

• Intermediate model: for animals from 1 to 30 kg
• Supplied with two piston/cylinder sizes
• Tidal volumes 4 to 25 ml (small cylinder) and 17 to 100 ml (large cylinder)

• Rates from 10 to 100 bpm

• Large model: for animals from 1.5 to 50 kg
• Tidal volumes from 30 to 750 ml (not accurately adjustable while running)
• Rates from 7 to 50 bpm
• Variable inspiratory/expiratory ratio

Harvard Starling 'Ideal' Ventilator

A new ventilator with negligible dead space, low noise, low wear, high reliability, and low radiated EMI.
